What Do They Have That You Don't?

Jun 17, 2022

You’ve heard stories about people who have overcome considerable obstacles to go on to do great things.

Stories like Liz Murray, homeless at 15, dealt with many hardships and went on to be accepted to Harvard.

Or stories of people who have been injured in horrific accidents and told they would never walk or function again, only to beat the odds and become fully functioning again.

Or people who start whole new chapters or careers later in life and enjoy great success.

What do they have that you don’t have? Nothing.

And, truth be told, if you are reading this, you are probably starting ahead of where they started.

So what is holding you back from the life you want to have? You!

Specifically, your thoughts about what you are capable of or what your circumstances will allow you to achieve.

You can turn your life around or start a new life today. It begins with taking full responsibility for where you are now in your life and where you want to go. Every decision you have ever made in your life to this point has gotten you to this moment.

Your next decision determines your future. If you want your life to be different, decide what you want and get busy doing the work.

You want to get your finances in order. You have to know where your money is going—every penny.

You want to lose weight. You must get honest about every morsel you put in your mouth and why?

If you hate your surroundings, change them. Clean, move or get rid of things that don’t bring you joy.

If you need a complete life overhaul, pick one area of your life and get started.

You are in control of your life, and you can create the life you want.

You are the only one who can create the life you want, so do it.
